SSRI and bupropion

Permalink 10:57:43 am, Categories: Antidepressants

In depressed patients with a partial response to an SSRI, augmentation strategies have generally not proved superior to simply increasing the SSRI dosage. However, one drug combination, an SSRI plus bupropion, has marked added benefits. Bupropion also counteracts the antiorgasmic adverse effects of the SSRI.
